The HST-PIT3 Thin Film Impact Tester is professionally designed for the precise determination of the pendulum impact resistance of materials such as plastic films, sheets, composite films, and metal foils.

Technical Features:

Test Principle:
The hemispherical punch of the film impact tester impacts and penetrates the film sample at a certain speed. The energy consumed by the punch is measured to evaluate the film's resistance to pendulum impact.

Test Applications:
Basic Applications: Plastic Films: Suitable for testing the pendulum impact resistance of plastic films, sheets, and composite films. Examples include PE/PP composite films for food and pharmaceutical packaging bags, metallized films, aluminum-plastic composite films, nylon films, etc.

Paper and Paperboard: Suitable for testing the pendulum impact resistance of paper and paperboard, such as metallized cigarette paper and Tetra Pak aluminum-plastic composite paper.
